Been here a few times before with the wife before seeing a show at Pantages. Very convenient. Food is always very good. Had the omakase with yellowtail collar. Excellent. Wife had a rainbow roll and spicy tuna on tofu (appetizer). All of it was good and came out pretty quickly

Evening event at Pantages calls for reservations at Totoyama Sushi and Ramen. Always delivers! Great food and gets you in and served with enough time to make the start of the play at Pantages right across Argle to the Pantages in a less than 5min walk. Had the Kyushu Ramen and Albacore roll with a Sapporo beer! Perfect!

We have season seats to the Pantages Theater and taking Metro two different couples wanted to exit at Hollywood & Vine instead of Hollywood & Highland, which we usually do and walk to the Pantages and stop along the way to eat. So, strangely enough both couples wanted Japanese food, so we suggested Totoyama, pretty darn close to the Pantages. My wife and I usually split food and we often get 3 rolls when at Japanese restaurants. On both visits we got Salmon Avocado rolls and a Tiger roll, and we also had a Rainbow roll on one visit and a Lemon Otoro Salmon roll on the other visit. I would say that the food is good, obviously if there twice in two weeks, but the service good one visit and not so much the second visit. Prices are okay. So if you're down on this end of Hollywood and want Japanese food it's a good choice.
